Octreotide side effect was reported by a Physician from JAPAN on Mar 29, 2006. Male patient, child 4 years of age, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia, pancreatitis and was treated with Octreotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased. Octreotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DECADRON, ELSPAR, NAFAMOSTAT MESYLATE, ULINASTATIN, CITICOLINE. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, anorexia, aspartate aminotransferase increased, asthenia, blood alkaline phosphatase increased, blood bilirubin increased, blood creatinine increased, chest pain , chills. Octreotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, GLIPIZIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOPROLOL, LOSARTAN POSTASSIUM, SYNTHROID, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
