Octreotide side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 14, 2005. Male patient, 49 years of age, weighting 242.5 lb, was diagnosed with hepatic neoplasm malignant and was treated with Octreotide. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anorexia, ascites, confusional state, disease progression, dyspnoea, nausea , oedema peripheral, scrotal oedema. Octreotide dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OCTREOTIDE LAR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with ALLOPURINOL, ACETYLSALICYLIC ACID SRT, GLIPIZIDE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, METOPROLOL, LOSARTAN POSTASSIUM, SYNTHROID, VITAMINS. Patient was hospitalized.
