Octagam side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from PORTUGAL on May 08, 2006. Male patient, 26 years of age, was diagnosed with solar urticaria and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: headache , nausea , pyrexia, syncope, thrombocytopenia. Octagam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with HYDROXYZINE, PARACETAMOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Octagam side effect was reported by a Health Professional from GERMANY on Nov 23, 2005. Female patient was diagnosed with secondary immunodeficiency and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, clostridium colitis, diffuse alveolar damage, lung infiltration, necrotising colitis, vomiting. Octagam dosage: 200 ML (10GM) IV. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, TRIMETHOPRIM, PANTOZOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/13/2005.

During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, PREDNISONE, PRAVASTATIN, LASIX, MABTHERA, PLAVIX, PROGRAF. Patient died.
