Octagam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 09, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 139.6 lb, was diagnosed with necrotising fasciitis, septic shock and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain damage, disorientation, hyperglycaemia, hypotonia, infusion related reaction, loss of consciousness, pupillary reflex impaired. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, brain damage, disorientation, hyperglycaemia, hypotonia, infusion related reaction, loss of consciousness, pupil fixed, unresponsive to verbal stimuli. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anaphylactoid reaction, body temperature decreased, hypoaesthesia, loss of consciousness, movement disorder , syncope. Octagam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEXIUM, ATENOLOL, FLORINEF, SINGLUAR, PREDNISOLONE, FLORADIL, FLOVENT, ZANAFLEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Octagam side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Sept 25, 2008. Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with allergenic desensitisation procedure and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , eye rolling, loss of consciousness, vomiting. Octagam dosage: 2000 MG/KG. During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, PREDNISONE, PRAVASTATIN, LASIX, MABTHERA, PLAVIX, PROGRAF. Patient died.
