Octagam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Aug 09, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 139.6 lb, was diagnosed with necrotising fasciitis, septic shock and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain damage, disorientation, hyperglycaemia, hypotonia, infusion related reaction, loss of consciousness, pupillary reflex impaired. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest
, eye rolling, loss of consciousness, vomiting. Octagam dosage: 2000 MG/KG. During the same period patient was treated with CELLCEPT, PREDNISONE, PRAVASTATIN, LASIX, MABTHERA, PLAVIX, PROGRAF. Patient died.
