Octagam side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 29, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with septic necrosis, septic shock and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, coma, hypotonia. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient died on 08/28/2005.

Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 139.6 lb, was diagnosed with necrotising fasciitis, septic shock and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain damage, disorientation, hyperglycaemia, hypotonia, infusion related reaction, loss of consciousness, pupillary reflex impaired. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, brain damage, disorientation, hyperglycaemia, hypotonia, infusion related reaction, loss of consciousness, pupil fixed, unresponsive to verbal stimuli. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
