Octagam side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 25, 2008. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 167.6 lb, was diagnosed with von willebrand's disease and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: aggression, back pain , convulsion, postictal state, tongue injury, urinary incontinence . Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with guillain-barre syndrome  and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, convulsion, fall , hyponatraemia, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, unresponsive to stimuli. Octagam dosage: 400 MG/KG, IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Octagam dosage: 400 MG/KG; I.V.. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
