Female patient, 64 years of age, was diagnosed with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebrovascular accident, confusional state, headache , nausea , visual impairment. Octagam dosage: unknown. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral thrombosis, confusional state, hemiparesis, infusion related reaction, movement disorder , pseudomonas infection. Octagam dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ACICLODAN, DIGOXIN DAK, FLUCONAZOL STADA, FUROSEMIDE, HJERDYL, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, PREDNISOLON DAK, PROGRAF. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: brain oedema, cerebrovascular spasm, confusional state, grand mal convulsion, headache , hypertension, hyperviscosity syndrome, nausea . Octagam dosage: 500 MG/KG; I.V.. During the same period patient was treated with ADRIAMYCIN, DEXAMETHAZONE, VINCRISTINE. Patient recovered.
