Octagam Side Effects Report #4791763-4
Octagam side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 29, 2005. Male patient, 86 years of age, weighting 138.9 lb, was diagnosed with septic necrosis, septic shock and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose decreased, coma, hypotonia. Octagam dosage: unknown. Patient died on 08/28/2005.

Octagam side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from FRANCE on Dec 15, 2008. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with guillain-barre syndrome  and was treated with Octagam. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, convulsion, fall , hyponatraemia, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome, unresponsive to stimuli. Octagam dosage: 400 MG/KG, IV. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, convulsion, hypertension, hyponatraemia, reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome. Octagam dosage: 400 MG/KG; I.V.. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
