Nystatin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 13, 2005. Female patient, 71 years of age, weighting 159.0 lb, was diagnosed with pemphigoid and was treated with Nystatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dysgeusia, tongue black hairy, tongue discolouration. Nystatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SEREVENT, AZMACORT, PETO BISMOL. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 80 years of age, was diagnosed with oral candidiasis, oral lichen planus and was treated with Nystatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: burning sensation, dysgeusia. Nystatin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NYSTATIN ORAL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, PROPRANOLOL, LISINOPRIL, SYMVASTATIN. Patient recovered.
