Nystatin side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 06, 2009. Female patient, 73 years of age, weighting 128.0 lb, was diagnosed with candidiasis and was treated with Nystatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, coma, drooling, fall What is  fall, hypersensitivity, respiratory arrest. Nystatin dosage: 5 ML QID PO ORAL ONCE ONLY. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Nystatin side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 18, 2008. Male patient was treated with Nystatin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abnormal behaviour, diarrhoea, frequent bowel movements, no therapeutic response, vomiting. Nystatin dosage: 1/2 ML IN EACH CHEEK Q.I.D.. During the same period patient was treated with RANITIDINE, NUTRAMIGEN. Patient recovered.
