Nyquil side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Nov 20, 2008. Female patient, 76 years of age, was diagnosed with oropharyngeal pain and was treated with Nyquil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chest pain , dizziness , dyspnoea, electrocardiogram abnormal, emphysema, eye disorder, hypoventilation, thrombosis, unresponsive to stimuli. Nyquil dosage: 30ML, 1/DAY FOR 1/DAY, ORAL; 15ML, 1/DAY FOR 1 DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with NYQUIL COLD, COUMADIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 45 years of age, weighting 185.0 lb, was diagnosed with influenza, nasopharyngitis and was treated with Nyquil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, dizziness , erythema, flushing. Nyquil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NYQUIL M, PLAQUENIL, MOBIC. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 36 years of age, weighting 203.0 lb, was diagnosed with influenza and was treated with Nyquil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: confusional state, dizziness , dyspnoea, heart rate increased, hepatic failure, overdose. Nyquil dosage: 30 ML, 7 /DAY, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ALTACE, LEVOTHYROXINE, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
