Noxafil Side Effects Report #5705491-1
Noxafil side effect was reported by a Physician from SWITZERLAND on Apr 03, 2008. Female patient, 65 years of age, was diagnosed with lung transplant  and was treated with Noxafil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, grand mal convulsion, neutropenia, partial seizures, thrombocytopenia. Noxafil dosage: 400 MG; BID; PO. During the same period patient was treated with PROGRAF, FLAGYL, CELLCEPT, INSULIN, OXAZEPAM, DAFALGAN, CASPOFUNGIN, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with fungal infection , acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Noxafil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coma, convulsion, depressed level of consciousness, hyponatraemia, metabolic disorder , somnolence. Noxafil dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ONCOVIN, KIDROLASE, CYTARABINE, METHOTREXATE, NUBAIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, child 9 years of age, was diagnosed with fungal infection , acute lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Noxafil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: altered state of consciousness, convulsion, electroencephalogram abnormal, glasgow coma scale abnormal, hemiparesis, hyponatraemia, metabolic disorder , somnolence. Noxafil dosage: 50 MG;TID. During the same period patient was treated with ONCOVIN, KIDROLASE, CYTARABINE, METHOTREXATE, NUBAIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 169.8 lb, was diagnosed with bronchopulmonary aspergillosis and was treated with Noxafil. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , cognitive disorder, convulsion, disturbance in attention, long qt syndrome, loss of consciousness, presyncope, respiratory arrest, ventricular fibrillation. Noxafil dosage: 800 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with VORICONAZOLE, MEROPENEM, TILIDIN, CLONAZEPAM, MIDAZOLAM, METHOTREXATE, PERFALGAN, TRIMEPRAMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 08/04/2008.
