Novomix Side Effects Report #5146135-X
Novomix side effect was reported by a Physician from SOUTH AFRICA on Oct 19, 2006. Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus, hypertension and was treated with Novomix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, hypoglycaemic coma, multi-organ failure, pneumonia , renal failure, vomiting. Novomix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COVERSYL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, ADALAT. Patient died on 09/26/2006.

Novomix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMARYL, ADALAT, BRINERDIN, ELTROXIN, PANAMOR. Patient died on 09/26/2006.
