Novomix side effect was reported by a Physician from SOUTH AFRICA on Oct 19, 2006. Female patient, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus, hypertension and was treated with Novomix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: glycosylated haemoglobin increased, hypoglycaemia, hypoglycaemic coma, multi-organ failure, pneumonia What is  pneumonia. Novomix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with COVERSYL. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient died.

Male patient, 55 years of age, weighting 277.8 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus insulin-dependent, insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus and was treated with Novomix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: glycosylated haemoglobin increased, macular oedema, visual disturbance. Novomix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NOVONORM, AVANDIA, DIAMOX, LASIX. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 39 years of age, weighting 198.4 lb, was diagnosed with diabetes mellitus insulin-dependent and was treated with Novomix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: circulatory collapse, coronary artery thrombosis, glycosylated haemoglobin increased, myocardial infarction, treatment noncompliance. Novomix dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DISPRIN. Patient died on 02/15/2005.
