Female patient, 81 years of age, weighting 136.7 lb, was diagnosed with insulin-requiring type ii diabetes mellitus, hypertension and was treated with Novomix. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood glucose increased, hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, hypoglycaemic coma, multi-organ failure, pneumonia , renal failure, vomiting.
