Nortriptyline side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on Mar 23, 2006. Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 215.0 lb, was diagnosed with neuropathy, sciatica What is  sciatica and was treated with Nortriptyline. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, confusional state, dizziness postural, fall What is  fall, feeling abnormal, fluid intake reduced, hyperhidrosis, orthostatic hypotension. Nortriptyline dosage: 50 MG BID PO. During the same period patient was treated with METFORMIN HYDROCHLORIDE, SILDENAFIL CITRATE, PAROXETINE, CYANOCOBALAMIN, HYDROCODONE BITARTRATE, SIMVASTATIN, ASPIRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, lethargy, pain in extremity. Nortriptyline dosage: 20 MG PO QHS. During the same period patient was treated with CARBAMAZEPINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
