Female patient, 16 years of age, weighting 220.2 lb, was diagnosed with contraception and was treated with Norplant. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: coronary artery disease , headache , implant site reaction, myocardial infarction, weight increased. Norplant dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with SYNTHROID. Patient died on 04/21/2002.
