Female patient, 42 years of age, weighting 251.3 lb, was diagnosed with uterine leiomyoma and was treated with Norethindrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: deep vein thrombosis , dyspnoea exertional, hyperhidrosis, metrorrhagia, oedema peripheral, pain in extremity, pulmonary embolism . Norethindrone dosage: 0.4/0.035MG PO QD. During the same period patient was treated with PREDNISONE, FERROUS SULPHATE, CALCIUM GLUCONATE, PYRIDOSTIGMINE BROMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
