Norethindrone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 12, 2007. Female patient, 45 years of age, weighting 166.9 lb, was diagnosed with uterine haemorrhage and was treated with Norethindrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , asthenia, deep vein thrombosis , fatigue, insomnia, pulmonary embolism . Norethindrone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ASPRIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 33 years of age, weighting 151.9 lb, was diagnosed with endometriosis , dysmenorrhoea, urinary tract infection  and was treated with Norethindrone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthenia, chest pain , dehydration, difficulty in walking, dysarthria, dysmenorrhoea, dyspnoea, gait disturbance, insomnia. Norethindrone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NORETHINDRONE ACETATE, IBUPROFEN, LEVAQUIN, EFFEXOR. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
