Nitrostat side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from on Dec 28, 2004. Female patient, 77 years of age, weighting 156.0 lb, was diagnosed with chest pain What is  chest pain and was treated with Nitrostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac failure, visual disturbance. Nitrostat dosage: (0.4 MG , AS NECESSARY), SUBLINGUAL. During the same period patient was treated with GLYCERLY TRINITRATE, POTASSIUM CHLORIDE, CAPS, CALCIUM, DIPHENHYDRAMINE, ASPIRIN, GLIBOMET. Patient recovered.

Nitrostat side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Oct 24, 2005. Female patient, 80 years of age, weighting 125.7 lb, was diagnosed with angina pectoris, chest pain What is  chest pain, cerebrovascular accident prophylaxis, arthritis What is  arthritis, blood potassium decreased and was treated with Nitrostat. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal infection, cardiac failure, cardiac failure congestive, cardiovascular disorder, central line infection, cerebrovascular accident, cholelithiasis, chronic respiratory failure, confusional state. Nitrostat dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, ISOSORBIDE MONONITRATE, ECOTRIN, CELEBREX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/15/2003.
