Male patient, child 2 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Nitropress. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: carboxyhaemoglobinaemia. Nitropress dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NITRIC OXIDE, DOPAMINE, MILRINONE, ISOPROTERENOL. Patient recovered.
