Nitropress side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 19, 2006. Male patient, 74 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension and was treated with Nitropress. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, bacterial sepsis, heparin-induced thrombocytopenia, multi-organ failure, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, renal failure acute. Nitropress dosage: 1.58 ML, CONTINUOUS, INTRAVENOUS. Patient died on 06/16/2006.
