Female patient, 57 years of age, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Nitrofurantoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: gait disturbance, hypoaesthesia, neuropathy peripheral, pain in extremity, paraesthesia. Nitrofurantoin dosage: 100 MG;Q12H;ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with ATENOLOL, LIPITOR, PREMARIN. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.
