Female patient, 83 years of age, weighting 114.0 lb, was diagnosed with urinary tract infection  and was treated with Nitrofurantoin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, asthenia, cough, dyspnoea, dysstasia, motor dysfunction, pneumonitis, tremor, weight decreased. Nitrofurantoin dosage: 100 MG;QD;PO. During the same period patient was treated with MONTELUKAST. Patient recovered.
