Nitisinone Side Effects Report #5382953-0
Nitisinone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from SAUDI ARABIA on May 28, 2007. Female patient, child 3 years of age, was diagnosed with tyrosinaemia and was treated with Nitisinone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, hypoxia, ischaemia, septic shock. Nitisinone dosage: 10 MILLIGRAM A DAY ORAL. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral ischaemia, hepatic failure, hypoglycaemia, hypoxic encephalopathy, septic shock. Nitisinone dosage: 10 MILLIGRAM A DAY ORAL. Patient died.
