Nitisinone side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on June 14, 2005. Male patient, child 1 years of age, weighting 1.00 lb, was diagnosed with tyrosinaemia and was treated with Nitisinone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: epistaxis, haematoma, infection masked, pulmonary haemorrhage. Nitisinone dosage: 0.78 MG/KG/DAY. During the same period patient was treated with VANCOMYCIN, IMIPENEM. Patient died.
