Nipent Side Effects Report #4708664-X
Nipent side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on June 30, 2005. Male patient, 73 years of age, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dehydration, fluid intake reduced, malaise, pyrexia, tumour lysis syndrome. Nipent dosage: 7.6 MG, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, ALEVE, ASPIRIN, FLOMAX, PROCARDIA, LOZOL, ALLOPURINOL, COMPAZINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, ACYCLORVIR, ALLOPURINOL, BACTRIM, LASIC, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, blood uric acid increased, dialysis What is  dialysis, dyspnoea, metabolic acidosis, renal failure acute, sepsis What is  sepsis, tumour lysis syndrome. Nipent dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/14/2005.
