Nipent side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 21, 2005. Male patient, 62 years of age, was diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation What is  atrial fibrillation, cardiac failure congestive, cardiomegaly, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pulmonary oedema. Nipent dosage: 0.381 MG (8 MG, Q 21 DAYS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXUAN, CYTOXAN, CRESTOR, ALTACE, ATENOLOL, EFFEXOR, TYLENOL PM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Female patient, 64 years of age, weighting 128.5 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, cardiac failure congestive, hypotension, multi-organ failure, oedema, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pneumonitis, respiratory distress. Nipent dosage: 0.1905 MG/M2 (4MG/M2, EVERY 21 DAYS); INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXIMAB, CYTOXAN, NEULASTA, ACYCLOVIR, AZITHROMYCIN, BACTRIM DS, LASIX, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Female patient, 54 years of age, weighting 162.0 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood pressure decreased, diarrhoea, immunoglobulins decreased, pain What is  pain, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, sepsis What is  sepsis, sinusitis What is  sinusitis, skin discolouration. Nipent dosage: 7.56 MG ONCE IV. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, RITUXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
