Nipent Side Effects Report #4977092-4
Nipent side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Mar 31, 2006. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with t-cell prolymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alanine aminotransferase increased, aspartate aminotransferase increased, blood lactate dehydrogenase increased, hyperbilirubinaemia, hyperkalaemia, hyperphosphataemia, hyponatraemia, metabolic acidosis, renal failure. Nipent dosage: 1.5486 MG (10.84 MG, ONCE WEEKLY), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CAMPATH, LACRI TUBE, VALCYTE, VORICONAZOLE, BACTRIM, FLOVENT, TOBRADEX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dialysis , metabolic acidosis, renal failure acute, respiratory failure. Nipent dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN, FLUDARA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/14/2005.

Nipent dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/14/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , bacterial sepsis, confusional state, cytomegalovirus antigen positive, metabolic acidosis, renal failure. Nipent dosage: 2 MG/M2.#1 ONE CYCLE OF 2 MG/M^2/DAY FOR 3 DAYS, INTRAVENOUS. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 02/20/2001.
