Nipent Side Effects Report #4734615-8
Nipent side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on July 22, 2005. Female patient, 69 years of age, weighting 155.0 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: chills, hypotension, nausea What is  nausea, oliguria, pyrexia, sepsis What is  sepsis, septic shock. Nipent dosage: 0.3333 MG (7 MG, Q3WEEKS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN, SYNTHROID, ATENOLOL, DIOVAN, LIPITOR, PHENERGAN, ALLOPURINOL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/25/2005.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardio-respiratory arrest, diarrhoea, hypotension, hypoxia, nausea What is  nausea, pulmonary embolism What is  pulmonary embolism, sepsis What is  sepsis. Nipent dosage: 2 MG/M2 (2 MG/M2, Q 21 DAYS), IVPB. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, ACETAMINOPHEN, BENADRYL, CELEBREX, ALDOMET, LASIX, NEUPOGEN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 06/08/2003.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: body temperature increased, cardiac failure congestive, hypotension, multi-organ failure, oedema, pneumonia What is  pneumonia, pneumonitis, respiratory distress. Nipent dosage: 0.1905 MG/M2 (4MG/M2, EVERY 21 DAYS); INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXIMAB, CYTOXAN, NEULASTA, ACYCLOVIR, AZITHROMYCIN, BACTRIM DS, LASIX, PREDNISONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.

Nipent dosage: -- (4 MG/M2, CLD1, C2-6D1), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXIMAB, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
