Nipent Side Effects Report #4777583-5
Nipent side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Sept 16, 2005. Female patient, 72 years of age, was diagnosed with extranodal marginal zone b-cell lymphoma (malt type) and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acidosis, gastroenteritis , renal failure. Nipent dosage: 0.1905 MG/M2 (2 MG/M2, EVERY 21 DAYS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 09/15/2005.

Male patient, 63 years of age, weighting 231.5 lb, was diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blepharitis, cough, dehydration, febrile neutropenia, gastroenteritis , pleural effusion, wheezing. Nipent dosage: 0.1905 MG/M2 (4 MG/M2, Q 21 DAYS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bradycardia, cardiac failure congestive, chest discomfort, dyspnoea, electrocardiogram st-t change, gastroenteritis , vomiting. Nipent dosage: 0.8571 MG (9 MG. D 1 + 8 Q 3WKS). INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, NITROGLYCERIN, TOPROL, COREG, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, ALDACTONE, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
