Nipent Side Effects Report #5206152-8
Nipent side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Dec 28, 2006. Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with lymphoma  and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , balance disorder, dyspnoea, mental status changes, nausea , neurological symptom, pulmonary oedema. Nipent dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE. Patient recovered.

Nipent side effect was reported by a Health Professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 25, 2007. Female patient, 71 years of age, was diagnosed with lymphoma  and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atrial fibrillation , balance disorder, dyspnoea, mental status changes, nausea , neurological symptom, pleural effusion, pulmonary oedema. Nipent dosage: 4 MG Q3W IV. During the same period patient was treated with VINCRISTINE, CYCLOPHOSPHAMIDE, LIPITOR, FOSAMAX, COUMADIN, TOPRAL, ACYCLOVIR, SULFAMETHOXAZOLE AND TRIMETHOPRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 52 years of age, was diagnosed with hairy cell leukaemia, antifungal prophylaxis and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: dyspnoea, toxic skin eruption. Nipent dosage: 8 MG, 1 EVERY 15 DAYS, INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with BACTRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Male patient, 57 years of age, weighting 189.6 lb, was diagnosed with graft versus host disease and was treated with Nipent. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: alveolitis, blood bilirubin increased, bone marrow failure, cholestasis, dyspnoea, escherichia sepsis, haemodialysis, multi-organ failure, renal failure acute. Nipent dosage: (0.5 MG), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with ACYCLOVIR, DECORTIN, KALINOR, NEXIUM, NITRO, NORVASC, AUGMENT, PANTOZOL. Patient died on 10/18/2005.

Nipent dosage: 0.2986 MG (8.36 MG, Q 4 WKS), INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, ALOXI, LIPITOR, LISINOPRIL, TOPROL, LASIX, ECOTRIN, VITAMIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood potassium increased, blood uric acid increased, dialysis , dyspnoea, metabolic acidosis, renal failure acute, sepsis , tumour lysis syndrome. Nipent dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with RITUXAN, CYTOXAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 10/14/2005.

Nipent dosage: 0.8571 MG (9 MG. D 1 + 8 Q 3WKS). INTRAVENOUS. During the same period patient was treated with CYTOXAN, NITROGLYCERIN, TOPROL, COREG, MAGNESIUM OXIDE, ALDACTONE, LASIX. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
