Nilotinib side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Feb 12, 2008. Male patient, 41 years of age, weighting 180.8 lb, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal stromal tumour, pain , hypertension, hypercholesterolaemia, abdominal pain  and was treated with Nilotinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cerebral ischaemia, dysarthria, electrocardiogram t wave abnormal, headache , hemiparesis, hemiplegia, hypoaesthesia. Nilotinib dosage: 400 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE, LOPID, ATENOLOL, GEMFIBROZIL, HYDROCHLOROTHIAZIDE, FENTANYL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: arthralgia, chest pain , chronic sinusitis, headache , neutropenia, sinus disorder, syncope, thrombocytopenia. Nilotinib dosage: 800MG DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with NILOTINIB VS IMATINIB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
