Nilotinib Side Effects Report #5535169-9
Nilotinib side effect was reported by a Physician from KOREA, DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF on Nov 29, 2007. Female patient, 63 years of age, weighting 110.2 lb, was diagnosed with gastrointestinal stromal tumour and was treated with Nilotinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disease progression, duodenal operation, duodenal stenosis, duodenal ulcer, endoscopy upper gastrointestinal tract, gastrointestinal haemorrhage. Nilotinib dosage: 400 MG, BID. During the same period patient was treated with NILOTINIB VS IMATINIB, SYNTHROID, CONOFEN, MESULID, ULTRACET, EPERISONE HYDROCHLORIDE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Nilotinib side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED KINGDOM on Jan 13, 2009. Male patient was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukaemia and was treated with Nilotinib. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blast cell count increased, blood creatinine increased, blood urea increased, c-reactive protein increased, chest x-ray abnormal, diarrhoea, disease progression, dyspnoea, nausea . Nilotinib dosage: 800 MG, QD. Patient died.
