Nifurtimox side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Mar 26, 2007. Female patient, child 12 years of age, weighting 63.93 lb, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma recurrent and was treated with Nifurtimox. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, feeling jittery, gaze palsy, lethargy, loss of consciousness, muscle rigidity, staring, syncope. Nifurtimox dosage: 20MG/KG/DAY PO DIV TID. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE, LORAZEPAM, CALCIUM SUPPLEMNENTS, ZOLENDRENIC ACID. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
