Male patient, 58 years of age, was diagnosed with hypertension, aortic dissection and was treated with Nicardipine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , cardio-respiratory arrest, coma, depressed level of consciousness, disease progression, electromechanical dissociation, hyponatraemia, infusion site erythema, infusion site pain. Nicardipine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with DILTIAZEM, CARVEDILOL, AMLODIPINE, NIFEDIPINE, MANIDIPINE, DOXAZOSIN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
