Male patient, 72 years of age, weighting 220.0 lb, was diagnosed with high density lipoprotein increased and was treated with Niacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: faecal incontinence, parasitic infection intestinal, steatorrhoea, treatment noncompliance, weight decreased. Niacin dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with B ELX. Patient recovered.

Niacin dosage: 2000 MG DAILY PO. During the same period patient was treated with ASPIRIN. Patient recovered.
