Niacin side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on Aug 15, 2006. Male patient, 56 years of age, was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was treated with Niacin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain , body temperature decreased, chest pain , dizziness , hypotension, intentional overdose. Niacin dosage: 11000 MG QD PO. During the same period patient was treated with VITAMIN B, VITAMIN B6. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
