Male patient, child 8 years of age, was diagnosed with hiv infection  and was treated with Nevirapine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: hepatitis , pancreatitis, pyrexia, rash . Nevirapine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with AMPRENAVIR, TRIMETHOPRIM, AMPHOTERICIN B, FLUCONAZOLE, GANCICLOVIR. Patient recovered.

During the same period patient was treated with NUCLEOSIDE REVERSE TRANSCRIPTASE INHIBITORS, METHADONE. Patient recovered.

Nevirapine dosage: 200 MG ONCE DAILY FOR 2 WEEKS, FOLLOWED BY 200 MG TWICE DAILY. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE. Patient died.
