Neoprofen side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 04, 2008. Male patient, weighting 1.41 lb, was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus and was treated with Neoprofen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: intestinal perforation, neonatal hypotension, peritoneal fluid analysis abnormal. Neoprofen dosage: 10MG/KG X1 042; 5MG/KG Q24 HRS X 2 DOSES 042. Patient died on 04/30/2008.

Neoprofen side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on July 01, 2008. Male patient was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus and was treated with Neoprofen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: discomfort, intestinal perforation, neonatal hypotension, sepsis neonatal, urine output decreased. Neoprofen dosage: 10 MG/KG; IV; 5 MG/KG; IV; IV. During the same period patient was treated with FLUCONAZOLE, CAFFEINE, VITAMIN A, DOPAMINE INFUSION, INSULIN, FENTANYL INFUSION, TOTAL PARENTERAL NUTRITION AND LIPID INFUSION. Patient died on 04/23/2008.
