Neoprofen side effect was reported by a Pharmacist from UNITED STATES on June 04, 2008. Female patient, weighting 1.54 lb, was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus repair and was treated with Neoprofen. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal abscess, abdominal distension, ileal perforation, intestinal perforation, skin discolouration. Neoprofen dosage: 10MG/KG X 1 042; 5MG/KG Q24HRS X 2 DOSES 042. Patient died on 02/13/2008.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal abscess, chorioamnionitis, necrotising colitis, necrotising enterocolitis neonatal, oedema neonatal, peritonitis, premature baby, small intestinal perforation. Neoprofen dosage: 10 MG/KG; QD; IV; 5 MG/KG; QD; IV; 5 MG/KG; QD; IV. During the same period patient was treated with DOPAMINE, HYDROCORTISONE. Patient died on 02/13/2008.

Neoprofen dosage: 7 MG; QD; IV, 3.5 MG; QD; IV. During the same period patient was treated with HEPARIN, INSULIN, PHYTONADIONE, VITAMIN A, CEFOTAXIME, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient died on 02/13/2008.
