Naropin side effect was reported by a Physician from CHINA on Sept 12, 2006. Male patient, 71 years of age, weighting 242.5 lb, was diagnosed with spinal anaesthesia, epidural anaesthesia, transurethral prostatectomy and was treated with Naropin. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cauda equina syndrome, dysuria, faecal incontinence, faecalith, sensory disturbance. Naropin dosage: 1.5ML OF 1% SOLUTION DILUTED TO 0.5% WITH 1.5ML STERILE WATER.. During the same period patient was treated with BUPIVACAINE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
