Naltrexone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Aug 01, 2005. Female patient, 25 years of age, weighting 117.9 lb, was diagnosed with self injurious behaviour, depression , insomnia and was treated with Naltrexone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: bipolar i disorder, bipolar ii disorder, condition aggravated, depressed level of consciousness, depression , myalgia, skin laceration, somnolence. Naltrexone dosage: 25.00 MG, QD, ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with TRILEPTAL, LUNESTA. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

Naltrexone side effect was reported by a Physician from on May 17, 2005. Female patient, 78 years of age, was diagnosed with pruritus and was treated with Naltrexone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal pain upper, anxiety , aphagia, condition aggravated, confusional state, frequent bowel movements, hyperhidrosis, nausea . Naltrexone dosage: UP TO 400 MG, DAILY, PO. During the same period patient was treated with PROMETHAZINE, GLIMEPIRIDE, NIFEDIPINE, FUROSEMIDE, DIGOXIN, METOPROLOL, LOSARTAN POTASSIUM, LACTITOL. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: agitation, condition aggravated, depression , feeling of despair, frustration, homicidal ideation, hypomania, intentional self-injury, suicidal ideation. Naltrexone dosage: 50MG DAILY IN THE AM PO. During the same period patient was treated with CITALOPRAM. Patient recovered.

Naltrexone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with METHADONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
