Nabumetone and cardiac arrest Patient Reports February 11, 2012

Nabumetone Side Effects Report #5139475-1
Nabumetone side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Oct 26, 2006. Female patient, 59 years of age, weighting 205.0 lb, was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis  and was treated with Nabumetone. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: asthma , cardiac arrest , cardiac failure, cardio-respiratory arrest, coma, loss of consciousness. Nabumetone dosage: 500 MG TWICE A DAY ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with PROLIXIN, COGENTIN, ATIVAN, TRAZODONE. Patient was hospitalized and became disabled. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: cardiac arrest , completed suicide, respiratory arrest. Nabumetone dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with OXYCODONE, ZANAFLEX, GABAPENTIN, OLANZAPINE. Patient died.
