Myleran Side Effects Report #4749070-1
Myleran side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from AUSTRALIA on Aug 10, 2005. Male patient, 61 years of age, was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma and was treated with Myleran. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: blood immunoglobulin g decreased, cough, influenza, lung infiltration, pneumonitis, pulmonary toxicity, respiratory failure, sepsis , streptococcal infection . Myleran dosage: 1 MG/KG/FOUR TIMES PER DAY/ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN, CLONAZEPAM, RITUXIMAB, FLUCONAZOLE. Patient died.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: atelectasis, dyspnoea, lung cyst benign, lung infiltration, pulmonary fibrosis . Myleran dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MELPHALAN. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
