Mycamine side effect was reported by a Physician from UNITED STATES on June 01, 2007. Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with off label use and was treated with Mycamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: disease progression, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, respiratory failure. Mycamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIMETOPRIM. Patient died.

Female patient, 42 years of age, was diagnosed with aspergillosis, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia and was treated with Mycamine. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: pneumocystis jiroveci infection, respiratory failure. Mycamine dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with TRIMETHOPRIM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died.
