Mucomyst side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Feb 22, 2005. Male patient, 69 years of age, weighting 154.3 lb, was diagnosed with prophylaxis, gastrooesophageal reflux disease, hypertension, hypercholesterolaemia and was treated with Mucomyst. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, bacterial infection What is  bacterial infection, blood culture positive, blood pressure increased, chills, heart rate increased, hypoaesthesia oral, paraesthesia oral, tachypnoea. Mucomyst dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with NEXIUM, COVERSYL, PRAVACHOL, SOLONE. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
