Mucomyst side effect was reported by a Health Professional from on Jan 13, 2005. Female patient, 53 years of age, was treated with Mucomyst. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: acute respiratory distress syndrome, diabetes mellitus, interstitial lung disease, pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia, respiratory failure. Mucomyst dosage: unknown. During the same period patient was treated with MEDROL, OMEPRAZOLE, URBANYL, LAMICTAL. Patient was hospitalized. Patient died on 07/09/2003.
