Mucinex side effect was reported by a Consumer or non-health professional from UNITED STATES on Sept 12, 2006. Male patient, 70 years of age, weighting 165.0 lb, was diagnosed with sinus congestion, sinus disorder and was treated with Mucinex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: abdominal distension, atrioventricular block third degree, cardiac arrest , cardiac failure congestive, haemorrhage intracranial, hypertension, respiratory failure, sinus disorder, subarachnoid haemorrhage. Mucinex dosage: 600 MG. During the same period patient was treated with CLARINEX, SINUTAB. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.

After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: anxiety , asthenia, coordination abnormal, dizziness , dysstasia, fear, hypertension, palpitations. Mucinex dosage: GUAIFENESIN 1200 MG Q 12 HRS PO. During the same period patient was treated with MUCINEX DM. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
