Male patient, 37 years of age, was diagnosed with upper respiratory tract infection and was treated with Mucinex. After drug was administered, patient experienced the following side effects: convulsion, fall , head injury, muscle rigidity, musculoskeletal stiffness, nausea , pyrexia, syncope, tinnitus . Mucinex dosage: 1 MG BID ORAL. During the same period patient was treated with MOTRIN, ZYRTEC. Patient was hospitalized. Patient recovered.
